z2009 World Croquet Championship

Event Description

The National Croquet Center with 12 lawns will host the 2009 World Croquet Championship from Saturday, May 9th to Sunday, May 17th, 2009.  The winner will receive the Wimbledon Cup.

Early rounds will be played at PGA National (4 lawns), the and Country Club (2 lawns).  The finals will be Sunday, the 17th at the National Croquet Center (NCC).

Each venue is within easy commuting distance to NCC and Palm Beach International Airport.  

The games will begin each morning at 8:30 A.M. EST and will continue until dark which is approximately 8:00 P.M. EST.

The Global Housing Bureau and Palm Beach County Sports Commission have partnered with United States Croquet Association and The World Croquet Federation (WCF) to provide players and attendees a great choice of hotels at discounted rates.
