Q: How much will it cost me to utilize the services of the Housing Bureau?

A: Our services are free! Based on the volume of business we refer to the hotel industry, our return on investment comes from the individual hotels and is based on actual room nights used.


Q: Do hotels object to paying a commission?

A: No, our "housing bureau" acts as a facilitator between hotel and attendee. Through our secured web site, processing reservations in real time dramatically reduces the time the hotel reservationists would spend on the phone with each attendee. We furnish the hotel with all of the necessary information they need to generate a reservation.


Q: Do hotels have to inflate their pricing in order to pay you a commission?

A: No. Our "buying power" affords your event the lowest possible hotel rates. When negotiating a "group rate," we request the commission be included. We make sure the rates published are the lowest rates available at the time of the event. We will never add undisclosed rebates, inflate hotel rates or add any additional fees!


Q: How will my attendees know that their rooms are booked and at what hotel?

A: The online "registration" form asks for three (3) hotels of choice. Upon submitting your reservation form, you will automatically receive an automated response that your reservation is being processed. You will receive a confirmation number from one of the hotels of your choice confirming your reservations.


Q: We already have a meeting planner on our staff, why would we require your services?

A: JBS Destination Solutions works with your in-house meeting planner to streamline the process of locating meeting space, check for hotel availability and arrange for site inspections. We can also assist the meeting planner in choosing suppliers - from motor coach companies and caterers to off-site entertainment venues enabling them to focus their priorities on the event.
